Dr. Sarah Rogers Kelley

Dr. Sarah Rogers Kelley has always had a passion for animals and veterinary medicine. As a child, she was inspired by a traveling veterinarian who stayed at her home, and after spending a week watching her work, she realized that being a veterinarian meant not only caring for animals but also serving the people who love them.

After high school, Dr. Rogers pursued her degree in Agriculture - Animal Science at Eastern Kentucky University before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2017. During her time at Auburn, she fell in love with the profession and knew she wanted to bring high-quality veterinary care to Eastern Kentucky.

After several years in practice, Dr. Rogers saw a growing need for veterinary services in Rockcastle County and decided to open Mt. Vernon Animal Clinic. Her mission is simple: to provide affordable, gold-standard care so that pets can enjoy long, healthy lives with their families.

"My entire goal at Mt. Vernon Animal Clinic is to offer affordable Gold Standard care, so you have as many good years with your animals as possible." – Dr. Sarah Rogers Kelley
